Graduates of the Agriculture Technician certificate will be able to:
1. Explain the legal and ethical environment impacting agriculture.
2. Analyze different tractor systems’ and implements’ abilities to effectively operate various equipment for agricultural operations.
3. Select appropriate equipment based upon power output needs, field capacity options, and overall performance for various agricultural operations.
4. Apply data collected by precision agriculture equipment, including maps, to variable rate technology and autonomous operation of agriculture equipment.
5. Discuss equipment calibration and application methods of pest chemicals.
