Semiconductor Manufacturing Short-Term Certificate

The Semiconductor Manufacturing Short-Term Certificate will give students an introduction on the basic principles of semiconductors and their manufacturing process. Additionally, students will be introduced to vacuum system usage and maintenance. Some lab work will be done in full bunny suites to give the effect of working in a clean room environment.
Courses in this certificate are offered in an in person format with lab work. Lab work will give students experience doing technical handwork and working with a team. Students will build upon their problem-solving and critical thinking skills during time spent in lecture and lab.

Total Program Hours: 20
+ Students must attain a 2.00 grade point average in these technical courses to graduate.
